I've been remiss in reading because I've been spending serious time in Valhalla. Seattle Opera's production of Wagner's Ring just gets better and better - I noticed something tonight that I missed the last two times and which knocked my soxen off, which is why I can justify seeing it again and again. Anyhow, tonight was Siegfried, and tomorrow is a bye, and next up is the NORNS (in Gotterdammerung) - I adore Norns!

Not that this will mean much to most of my friends, but that's where I've been and why I've not been commenting or posting or reading oh my.....

So glad to be wishing sherrold another happy birthday on the opening day of this year's Ring Festival - two reasons to use the wonderful she made for me!

After years of resistance I finally joined Facebook yesterday. They seem to have spammed my entire gmail address book in my name. Seriously, if I'd had any idea that might happen I would have created a dummy email account just for them. If you've been the recipient of such spam, I'm really sorry and am personally taking the blame for any- and everything that goes wrong today in order to atone.

Google is celebrating Igor Stravinsky's birthday today with a very cool logo.

Meanwhile - my foster dragon, adopted as a hatchling, has grown up and is named. Of course he turns out to be a surly, underground fellow whom I may never see again, but at least I didn't kill him! Buoyed by this success, I picked up another egg.

I'm giving it another try...

I'm so glad I stayed with it! It's been getting more interesting over the last few weeks, and tonight....well, no spoilers but it was wonderful seeing AT again. And there were some brilliant lines in there.... !!!!!
